Zoe lived with her mother and a black cat named Smokey. Smokey loved to sit on the kitchen counter next to the stove and refrigerator. Several years past and Smokey soon grew old and died.
Two years after Smokey's death, Zoe's stove caught fire from leaving the cookies in too long. The fire fighters were called in to put out the fire. After the fire was put out, everyone was surprise that there was a cat's outline burned onto the side of the refrigerator. The strange thing is that it was exactly the same spot where Smokey used to lie on.
